Games BioWare put out after being fully integrated with EA: ME3, ME Andromeda, DA Inquisition They had politics, leading female characters and gay relationships in their games long before EA bought them. They did, and there was nothing wrong with it. It's when they cheaply ham-fist it into games and make it so obviously interjected that it's less "progressive" and more "virtue signalling" that it becomes a problem and ruins the narrative flow of the game.
