Screen glitches out and it looks like the matrix. Once the system cools it boots up fine but quickly overheats and the screen goes wonky again. I see. It looks pretty straightforward to do based youtube videos. Arctic Silver is cheap, so at least if that doesn't fix it you won't be out much. Replacing or applying thermal paste is one of the easiest things you can do in terms of working on computers.
