Those dialogue options looked pretty boring so that's a bit alarming and there were only three of them.

Unless [Intimidate] changes to something else based on whatever skill you have that may be higher that's a letdown.

Thats why if THAT is makinh people excited, imagine a more in depth dialogue.

Just prove what blunder bethesda made with fallout 4

Basically if they're gonna have skill checks in dialogue they should cater to every "speech" skill you have in the game in my opinion.

New Vegas didn't do that always but they did it a lot or at least tried to.

pillars of eternity, espeically deadfire was almost like that,

i find it nice, but the one that actually affect gameplay are sparser than the one that just change a line or 2
