Hellhole has no topicality and that's what I got modded for. "Topicality" refers to what the board is about. In that sense, bitching about politics in a thread you make on the, say, Tekken 7 board without correlating it to the game somehow would be "off-topic." "Derailment" (which would fall under Disruptive Posting as opposed to Off-Topic) would be literally and deliberately changing the subject in a thread. For example, my moderation was for posting in some thread about some rando complaining an obvious "fair, next" moderation by saying in the second post "this thread is now about ice cream," or something of the sort. This is further emphasized by how only the OPs of topics can be marked for off-topic on a board that has topicality. In short, not all boards have "topicality" in the sense of the topic of the thread. However, all threads have potential to be derailed intentionally, which isn't "off-topic" as far as the rules/mods care as much as "disruptive posting."
