Topic | Santa's post cards don't say Merry Christmas apparently, according to Google. |

If you include Merry Christmas, you have to include the version for literally every holiday. Happy Holidays literally covers all of them. Here's the issue. His appearance? You can thank Odin for that. Leaving things out for him? Odin again. His reindeer? Yep, Odin. His trademark red suit? That one was actually Coca Cola in the 50's. My point is that he might as well serve as a symbol for the holiday season since he's just an amalgamation of multiple different religious traditions, so saying he's Christian, despite having almost zero Christian influence, is stupid. That doesn't change the fact that they don't have specific cards for each specific holiday, and instead using the generic 'Happy Holidays' to cover all of them. Again, no 'Happy Hannukah' or 'Happy Kwanza' or 'Happy Yule' or 'Happy Saturnalia' or anything like that. Stop acting like they are singling Christmas out just because they are treating it the exact same way the treated every other god damn holiday. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
