UCF is doing everything in their power to bolster their resume by winning the games that they were able to schedule, and in the end, it doesn't even matter. Going forward, no major P5 team will be willing to risk their own playoff chances to schedule them. Being 'promoted' from a G5 conference to a P5 conference is very difficult. So besides pushing for the playoff to be expanded to 8 teams, there's nothing else that UCF can possibly do. A team being that good but also being that helpless to control their own destiny... it's a damn shame.
