The only thing that prevents me from trusting the Tifa/Sephiroth result as evidence that Samus would beat Mario is the match pic factor in today's matches. We have another day of sprites and I could see Sephiroth being hurt more than Tifa by these sprite pictures. This throws off Tifa's strength relative to Sephiroth and makes Tifa/Sephiroth unreliable in projecting Samus > Mario based on the Samus/Tifa and Mario/Sephiroth matches.
