Actually the opposite is what ia forgotten. There were non-government groups who used violence to shut down speech they didn't want to hear. You might recognize some of them like the kkk. Like, a black person with a sign protesting something would have got killed back in the day not by the government, but by a mob. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, it is ok? Free speech doesn't exist when your neighbor can slam you into the asphault for speaking out and people applaud and support him. You may think it is good now because they are nazis, but one day you will regret it when the mob isn't fighting a boogeyman but a minority in some way. --- chill02 to me: you are beautiful ...
