Yesterday was my first time sitting down and really watching this movie. I had seen various little clips here and there when I was a kid, but had never watched start to finish.

The Good
- The soundtrack, first and foremost. John Williams at just about his best.

- The scenery, sets, etc. Very beautiful movie. Every scene is very well setup from the sets they built, the wardrobe, to the various props and such. Great job at capturing a 1930s setting while still dazzling us with that Hollywood touch.

- The humor. Much like Star Wars, it uses subtle humor and sprinkles it around. I especially like how that girl, no matter what the situation, seemed to always get screwed over. It was a recurring theme that got funnier every time.

- The directorial work. Camera angles, camera switches, camera movement, and general flow of the movie was extremely well done as expected from this director.

The Bad
- The fight scenes. My goodness were they ever terrible. It's like they didn't even try to make it look like punches were making contact. And the enemies don't even appear to be trying.

- The plot. I didn't realize this going in, but this movie is literally about a guy who tries to find literal Noah's Ark and the secret power held within it before Nazis from Germany do. This doesn't really ruin the movie, but it seems a bit farfetched lol.

Score=8/10
I enjoyed this movie overall. Was disheartened to read that Temple of Doom isn't anywhere nearly as good. But I'll still watch it and the others and post my reviews.
