I think the issue is that parents tend to just get really mad at the situation of having to wash a bunch of urine-soaked bedding so often. And I get that. But gosh, you'd think they'd stop and think about how helpless and shitty they are making that child feel with absolutely no achievable goals or solutions put in place to correct the issue. I even hear some parents say "You must not have went pee before you went to bed last night like you know you're supposed to" as justification for punishing them, even though they use circular logic in coming to that conclusion (if my son peed the bed, he must not have went pee the night before, even though I wasn't watching him the entire time and thus have no idea if he did or not). --- All points of view and perspectives exist for a reason.
