The way people talk to each other on this board is cruel, straight forward and honest (for better or for worse) I don't necessarily approve of it, but if you're going to stay on this board for any period of time longer than a contest you should know that that's just how you'll be treated. There's really no ill will from us, it's just how we communicate.

I don't generally think of board 8 as being a particularly aggressive place and I don't think it's necessarily a culture of cruel straightforwardness, what you're describing happen but it's not something I think of as quintessentially board 8. There's a lot of very kind and gentle people here

The problem with SND, I think, is that he genuinely wants to fit in but doesn't really know how and is frustrated, and he just brought up probably the most taboo topic you could to make a point so people are rightfully pissed at him, but I don't see board 8 as being a place where like, you should just live with the fact that people are going to be low-key abusive to you all the time. That's not the kind of place I want this community to be

SND should not call people cucks or anti-SJWs 'cause that's not how we do shit around here, and a failure to integrate is obviously going to cause friction, but again I don't think the default state of b8's community is "we just fucking talk shit at each other all day don't get your feelings hurt bro" and if you think that's how we all operate I would please implore you to try to be a gentler person

anyway. SND, don't call things cucks or anti-SJWs or gay, nobody here thinks it's cool, and don't bring up someone's suicide like that. please use better tact in the future and there will be people who listen
