At the time I thought it did a good job continuing from Warcraft II and talking about the history of the various factions and the various events that took place since. WCIII had the ol thick manual filled with content and was actually enjoyable to read I thought. The digital version of SC only included a useless 8 page manual so I had to find the digital manual online, and luckily I just found the BW manual in my basement from the Battlechest that was in my backlog forever now. I hope Blizzard can at least include an in-game history or something. They ARE trying to make it accessible to newcomers so I don't see why they couldn't. :/ I don't get why they didn't include the long manuals with the digital versions of Starcraft though...they really should have since they're a necessity for the games. :/ --- ~Nintendo 64.
