So all games should have the equivalent of save states then? In particular games being able to save just whenever kills any challenge to the game.

That's mistaking tedium for difficulty.


No it isn't. If I can literally save every two seconds I can just re load every time I get hit so I got full health when I get to the boss. Then I can in turn save after every hit I land on the boss so if I do lose I can load up my save and not have to fight the whole fight again.

It kills the challenge of certain games.

Some games you'll never hear me claim I beat them even though I did because I know I abused save states to accomplish it.
