it's all about what i call social attractiveness, basically you have to appear as a real/relateable person to the girl and make a little narrative for yourself. being really attractive is only going to get you so far online, suprisingly.
havent used tinder in a while but assuming you still get 5 pics, heres what you do:
#1 - good picture of you #2 - pic of you & friends #3 - pic of you drinking alcohol or being in a situation where alcohol is served (bar/party/etc) #4 - pic of you either doing something travel-related or athletic #5 - wildcard pic, here you can do a pic with a pet or something that's funny or w/e
now here is what you don't do:
- shirtless pics, even if you're ripped there are a million other guys out there who are more ripped and its not even impressive after a while
- pics of you and a girl, ppl will think it's your girlfriend or ex gf
- pics of you doing esoteric nerdy shit, you might really love painting Warhammer figurines but save that shit for after the girl has decided to sleep with you
- selfies. dont use em unless there is some reason to be taking the selfie (i.e. selfie with a pet, in an interesting location, etc). dont just do a selfie of you in your bedroom
- group pics as a first pic, people will immediately assume you are the least attractive person in the entire group
so now you have this little narrative of yourself as a well put-together guy who has friends & is social, goes drinking, is into traveling and physical activities, and then they even get a little glimpse into your personality (but not too much, because this is a sales pitch). in terms of bio, less is more. maybe put in one sentence of something witty, your college or w/e if you go there. get rid of that link ASAP, nobodys clicking on that shit.
from there it's just a numbers game, swipe on all girls that look interesting or attractive and eventually you'll get a bite. once you get a match just say whatever you want, try and be funny and have a good first few lines. if you don't beg for nudes or send pics of your boner you are already ahead of a solid 50% of the matches the girl has. the goal with tinder is to get the girl off tinder so try & get her digits and set up a date.
