| BUMPED2002 11/12/18 8:40:36 AM #5: | Carter has already been president and he was president in the midst of the worst economy in a long time in the 1970s and that's what got him defeated by Reagan. Carter inherited a crap economy from Nixon/Ford and he could never right the ship. He also had to deal with Lewis F Powell telling corporations how to seize control of the country's political and judicial institutions among other things and that's what they have done for the past 45 years.
