Topic	Why do people feel so entitled to be trusted?

Growing up in a household with a paranoid, delusional, volatile bipolar person prone to instant 180 mood swings and meltdowns over nothing is probably the reason why I never acquired any trust skills. To this day, the most I can trust a person is "I trust you not to fuck me over because you know that I'll fuck you over even harder if you do." So it's trust built upon that mutually assured destruction concept that they talk about in context of nuclear arms races.
