| SuperNiceDog 11/06/18 12:43:32 AM #34: | The issue with female characters(like Bayonetta) being mega strong is that... it just comes across as feeling fake in media(all forms, tv, movies, video games, shows) when they have women being ridiculously op PHYSICALLY. Taking out 10, 20, 50 men who are bigger than her np. Like... in the real world women are physically weaker, it's just biology. Nothing wrong with that. So when you see Bayonetta taking out like 20 guys no problem in her games... a lot of the male(and probably even female) audience will roll their eyes because it does not match the real world. They know that the video game/movie is SUPPOSED to be a fantasy, but when you bend the rules of reality too far it becomes hard to stay invested/interested. Things are just happening because they can. It is hard to make good female characters in games I grant you that, and Bayonetta IS cool, so props to them... --- GJ BK_Sheikah ...
