The rallies were definitely more fun. You wont find many agreeing here though partly because of how toxic some of the rallies people were and partly because people love their stale bran flakes contests around here. All these anti-rally measures did was make Nintendo stronger than ever even letting contest chokers like DK look like champs and assure Link will win every contest hes in from here on. Our own community can be just as toxic as the rallied people though. Look at everybody who shit on Sans when he didnt get a rally and lost to Pac-Man and everyone who laughed at Draven getting buried. These people are still feeling negative shit from years ago and cant let it go

That is an outrageous false equivalence

You're talking a smattering of light-hearted posts and like five topics total, all of which was was over within a couple of days, vs. a toxic, deliberate campaign to make the board as hellish as possible over a roughly six-week period.

I wasn't going to hide my glee at Draven being utterly pasted or my disappointment with Undertale fans' lack of gumption but it was put to bed and forgotten within hours of the respective matches finishing.

Really disappointing to see a board 8 user drawing a comparison between the two things like they are even remotely the same.
