They are an aggressive breed combined with being strong but pit bulls being aggressive is usually the fault of owners who purchased/adopted a pit bull without understanding the need to or being willing to put in the extra time that dogs like pit bulls require. A pit bull can be perfectly tame, if the owner knows what they are doing and puts in the time.

But most people purchase pets almost purely based on appearance, and have no idea what they're getting into.

I dont know how to train dogs other than housebreaking them really. My Pitts only issue is overly hyper and wants to jump on people to beg for attention. In my defense I didn't ask for the dog it was just sorta dumped on me and I ended up liking her.
