There were definitely some white people who didn't like having a black president, but there were also plenty of black people who got race baited by the media after the Mike Brown and Trayvon incidents and started thinking they were suddenly being oppressed by white people.


Prejudice against black people in the criminal justice system is both highly documented and uncontroversial.


I don't disagree that there are some issues, but that's not the same thing as "oppression" or living with a constant victim complex, which are both things that grew under Obama's term for various reasons.

Statistically, police brutality against people of color has been steadily trending down over time (and hit record lows last year), but the perception of this is completely detached from reality.
