Topic	Why do companies let Amazon shit on them constantly?

I use to get home after my shift(at UPS, but not the one that delivers to my house, which I know because I got a package for my neighbor that had to go to a different warehouse) and my driver would come there within the hour. And would wait for me. I ended up telling him to just drop it off in the screen door. He would still knock or ring the doorbell. So, I could finish taking a shower or nap or whatever. It actually worked out pretty well. I can't even imagine a world where this would happen. I don't thing anything like that has happened even once in the 40 years I've been alive. Maybe you live in a more rural area, where mail carriers are inherently more friendly and responsible? It's pretty much the only scenario I can think of. I know mailmen by me have pretty much never given much of a fuck. Maybe it's the area. I know that the house I lived in during third grade, we had the same mailman for so many years. He knew all the families. And if anyone was at the mailbox when he came, he'd just give all the mail to you. Everybody in the neighbor hood knew him. And he was just a really nice person.
