Topic	Why is 3G internet slower today than dial-up was?

Disclaimer: I am not a networking professional. "4G" is Wi-Max which is basically cell towers with microwaves LTE is a totally different thing but the speeds are about the same. Qualcomm torpedoed Wi-Max to death by using contract leverage over apple to refuse to adopt it for iPhones in favor of LTE.
