Topic | hey, did you know that Kevin Spacey was always a bad actor who never got awards? |
Zeus 09/28/18 9:16:35 PM #18: | I somewhat hate to suggest this, but I kinda wish that we could have a wrap-up period for actors involved in non-criminal scandals where they could finish their existing projects before being blacklisted from the profession and consigned to irrelevance (or a multi-year apology tour). While so far it hasn't hurt any show or movie I care about, I'm worried that someday an actor or actress from something I'm actively following will turn out to be an absolute creep and it winds up shitcanning the show. As it is, I *was* eventually going to watch House of Cards and this may or may not adversely affect it. And James Gunn being outed as a pedo will likely hurt GotG which I plan on getting around to watching someday and, given the hype, is probably something I'll like. Mead posted... It's PO, he was obviously being facetious and likely referencing the fact that the WWE has done its damnest to erase Benoit from history. HagenEx posted... He's a wonderful actor that chose very awful roles throughout the years (at least awful in terms of award winning performances). Not sure what my favorite Spacey role was. He was a great actor, though. Also it's kinda ironic that the guy starred in a film entitled Consenting Adults when he went down over allegations that he tried to have a non-consenting encounter with a minor. --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
