She came out of the woodwork when Kavanaugh's name started showing up in the papers. That's not that uncommon. She'd done her best to put this all behind her, then all of a sudden she sees the man who attacked her vying for one of the most powerful offices in the land? Yeah, if I was in her shoes, I'd come forward too. Ah yes. The latest fad... the "he's famous now" argument despite the fact that he's been well known and in positions of power for years. But now suddenly that he's in a position of power that more immediately threatens the power of Democrats it's the time. darkknight109 posted... If I told you "Person A accused Person B of sexually assaulting them while Person B insisted nothing happened" and told you nothing else about the situation or either person, then asked you to bet on whether the allegations were true or not, smart money would be on Person A's version of events by an enormous margin. Fair. But there have still been plenty of false accusations and it's more suspicious when its someone in a position of power with a more immediate threat to the Democrats power. Response to #2 (had to delete a quote block) Sorry bud but it looks like the alleged therapist notes and polygraph test have not been turned over to anyone so that is speculation. For instance, she puts Mark Judge in the room with her and Kavanaugh - why would she do that if she made it up? If the story was a fabrication, that would put two people's word against her one. If I was in her shoes and I was going to put anyone in this story in the room with me, it would be someone loyal to me who could back up my version of events; Judge is a friend of Kavanaugh's and is a reasonably well-known conservative to boot.
