There's no such thing as a quick investigation and only person whose interests it's in is the Democrats who can use this to stall out the proceedings in the hopes of winning back the majority then veto'ing Trump's choices for the next 2-6 years. I mean youre wrong. If there arent witnesses or corroborating factors then an investigation can be wrapped up in just a few days.
