Now you see why everyone is so baffled by Republicans standing by such a trash nominee with historically negative favourability and spotty history.

Kavanaugh or no Kavanaugh, a conservative judge *is* getting nominated and literally nobody is saying otherwise. That's what makes forcing Kavanaugh so stupid.

If they had even made an attempt to appear like they were taking this seriously and not just rubber stamping anyone Trump nominated this could have been avoided. But when the people choosing the nominee know they are going to get softball questions like the sharpie thing then why pick someone respectable when you can just nominate who will be your buddy?
