My desktop is hooked up to my TV, in fact I don't own any computer monitors, never have since I started PC gaming again seriously 11 years ago. You can use wireless mouse and keyboard to use the computer from the couch/recliner.

This one could depend on your household. If you have other people that use the tv regularly, but you still want to use your computer, then they would probably have the PC normally hooked up to a monitor. Constantly switching and moving it would kinda suck.

I live alone, so not a big issue (plus other then Netflix I don't use my TV for anything else). In college though, my friends had no problem when one of them hooked up their computer to their TV, and the other had his XBox hooked up. I mean, no more of a problem then sharing a TV would be otherwise.

Even though that has been somewhat remedied, everything comes out for PC anyways so really no reason for me to switch back.

Except for the exclusives and such. Which, depending on the person, might be the games you actually want more...

Thing is I would agree with you back before the PS3/360 gen. But nowadays exclusives are becoming less and less to the point where it is not financially feasible to get one for the one or two games I might consider. The only real exclusive I hear PC gamers really complain about is Bloodbourne, and even then you have Dark Souls to tide you over.
