Zeus posted...Speaking of presidential assassinations, I was listening to a NPR story yesterday (probably a rebroadcast) where they discussing how a former marine subdued a woman who had tried to short Gerald Ford.... and then Harvey Milk, being a consummate asshole, outed the guy as gay to make a political point and basically ruined his life. The guy didn't want any real attention in the first place -- let alone for his orientation which he repeatedly insisted didn't matter -- but thanks to Harvey Milk his sexuality became the focus of the story and was used to push an agenda against Gerald Ford. A hypocrite who runs on identity politics yet outs people just trying to live their lives?
