Do you think these people are morons?
- No, it's their merchandise, they can do what they want with the things they paid for. I think the people in Nike are morons for giving this guy a larger platform than he already had.

Colin Kaepernick was announced as the face of NIKE's new "Just Do It" campaign
- How odd since if he'd 'just do it' when asked to please stand for the national anthem he wouldn't be as well known by non sports fans as he is today. I'm saying he's most well known for his defiance of that slogan.

the first NFL player to kneel during the national anthem as protest against racism
- Kneeling is intended to show deference and fealty to the subject one is kneeling before. If he believes the national anthem symbolizes racism, and he's kneeling for the national anthem, then he's showing support for racism.

One might argue that he's showing subjugation to the national anthem, but then his act of kneeling and other people supporting him for doing so demonstrate that he's not being subjugated.

Since when did the American Flag and the National become offensive?
- It was when the mainstream media became more socialist.

Gino Fisanotti, vice president of North America operations said "We believe Colin is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation who has leveraged the power of sport to help move the world forward"
- Gino Fisanotti is wrong. Colin has abused the power of sport to help move the world backward. He shouldn't be given more attention.

What if they boycott the players who rape, murder, assault and make dogs fight instead?

I don't recall any sports player using their position to promote rape, murder, assault, or dogs fights; though I find the proposal of boycotting them for it equally acceptable.

Nike picks a guy who thinks police disproportionately target black people in USA (an observable fact)

Disproportionate to the population, not disproportionate to the crime.

If a white and a black commit the same crime, a black is more likely to be arrested, and is more likely to get a longer sentence.

They're more likely to get a longer sentence because they tend to be a repeat offender. In which case it's easier to identify, locate, and arrest them since they already have a record.
