At the time I felt his plan for healthcare lacked the balls necessary to be good policy because it relied on a public option instead of simply subsidizing healthcare as Hillary had planned. I figured better to have 4 more years of not fixing the problem than having Obama fix it incorrectly. I voted for democrats at every other level just not for President though.
I also thought he was all fluff with no ability to actually effectively administrate. He proved me wrong on that front and by the time 2012 rolled around repealing ACA would have caused more chaos than it would have solved and he in general proved to be centrist as opposed to liberal.
