I always feel really awkward about congratulating someone for being pregnant because I dont see having kids as a good thing but apparently most of society does, so I have to find a way to fake happiness for someone whos in a situation that I would find devastating. Its weird ... This It's shame we value reproduction over actual achievements like educational accomplishment. Really? Have you personally seen where someone graduated with a degree and another person went "that's nice.... if only you could do something productive like getting laid and spreading your seed"? Also speaking from experience, you're not going to give a shit about your education 5 years after graduation. You'll definitely care about your kid. I know you're being facetious... but yeah.
