And yeah I like her a lot cause she kinda flips the typical "perky young girl" type on its head with her internal monologues and some of her dialogue. Like she's more often doing it because she feels like she has to to keep morale up than because it's her personality per se. I feel like in more light hearted times Vanille actually might be a bit more of a thoughtful chill type rather than WOO ENERGY~. I think that's neat to think about. You kinda get a bit of that feel with Rikku too from time to time but I think there's a bit more of a contrast with Vanille which is interesting. Rikku's more like "peppy girl who can be serious once in a while when the mood calls for it" and Vanille is like "girl who is serious deep down most of the time but pretends to be peppy to help try and keep things light." Also her weapon is badass. I wish physical attack Vanille was more viable but what can ya do. Easily my favorite FFXIII character and one who would be on my list, and possibly my favorite from your list too. (Faris Edgar and Setzer are the only other considerations) --- No problem!
