I'm not just talking about those who were innocent. We have an established legal system for a reason. If you want someone punished for sexually assaulting you, you bring charges and prove it. Trying to destroy someone's life and career based on hearsay and public opinion is not due process. While that would be ideal, we've known for a long time now that actual victims of such crimes take a long time to say anything because of fear and psychological damage. The longer someone waits, the harder it is to collect evidence.
