Why do I see this assumption on the boards all the time? Ive tried many other phone brands, the only one Ive never had a problem with is Apple. So I stick to it. Not sure what the problem is.
The problem is you can get an identical product, without the half chewed fruit on the back, for half the price. They do nothing and charge a premium for it.
Android is indentical to iPhone? Not really. Any Android comes with a shitton of bloatware that the providers and device manufacturers shovel onto the device that you can only remove if you jailbreak your phone. iPhones only come with the default Apple apps which you can uninstall at any time. They can also do the exact same functions as androids. You can still play games, make and receive calls, make and receive text messages, and use the same apps. The only difference is that you dont have to deal with shovelware apps.
The observation that @ChaoticKnuckles was asking about is the internet hivemind opinion that iPhones are bad because theyre overpriced and that people who buy them are drones because they like something they dont like.
If a minor thing like that is worth nearly double the price then by all means... you do you
