If some people get their feelings hurt because some people dont understand them then that is genuinely unfortunate since we should all be good to each other. But that doesnt mean they get to change the way the world defines things or make it ok for them to rally against anyone that sees things differently. It's not because some people don't understand them. It's because some people are being assholes toward them. You don't have to understand trans people, or even agree with them, to be respectful toward them.
