Topic	Is the Proud Boys group a white supremacist group?

One of my old band friends is now subscribed to this group and everything I've looked up seems to point to them being a white supremacist group, or at least very close. Claiming whites are responsible for all(keyword) of the advances in western culture, America should be a white nation, etc. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt because he was a good guy but eh.
