Dude that shit is the worst. We like to "pre-close" the store and start cleaning half of the grill and drop down to 1 fryer around 1:30 or so in the morning. The drive-thrus are open longer than the actual lobby part and we close at 2am on weekdays, 3 on weekends. So if I already cleaned half of the grill and somone wants a burger and I'm out, I have to risk messing up what I just cleaned. We do have a policy where we don't cook any fresh burgers or anything that takes longer than 3 minutes to cook at 1:50/2:50. We sell as much already cooked stuff as we can but if we run out of burgers at 2:50 and you want one, you're out of luck. We serve all the way until 2:10/3:10 and after that we turn people away. But I've gotten several call-in complaints and corporate complaints about "closing too early". I get it though. You get off work at 1:30 or 2 and you want some food. There's a 24-hour mcdonalds and a taco bell right next to us so there's definitely food options available.
