You say this, but then you go on to list a variety of examples of his paranoia and distorted sense of reality. He hasn't cited any disabilities himself, no, but it's really not much of a jump to infer that he's not the most mentally healthy person around.

Which, as I mentioned, seem more related to his upbringing and environment than any actual mental illness, although technically we won't know for sure because he's not going to talk to a therapist either way. Many of his problems likely result simply from the fact that he's cloistered himself. (Or cloystered himself.)
