I ended up stuck with $14k in debt though because all the deposits were in my name and on my card. And he was a deadbeat with no job and a secret $100k debt he hid from me The funniest memory I have is my best friend answering all the calls from our vendors. She would reply in the most casual tone Im sorry but there will be no wedding. Why? Because the groom is an asshole, thats why The bakery was pissed let me tell you. They made a 4 layer cake for 150 people for nothing. The owner almost yelled at me but when he heard my voice, he laid off Oh yeah and I also received $10k in gifts from family who couldnt make it.
