He is suspicious of government, why would he trust the police with his daughter? You can certainly say he didn't do the ideal thing, but you can't argue he wasn't trying to protect his daughter, particularly when he was guarding against the exact individual who fired the killing bullet in to his daughter. --- Scloud posted...
