So here's the story:

A Constable (Not a regular cop) goes to an apartment building and he is armed. He is serving an eviction notice to a tenant. The Constable had been there twice previously to talk to this man.

This time when he knocks on the door the tenant sticks his head out, sees who it is and basically says "yeah, i'm not being evicted" (paraphrased) and shuts the door. A little bit later the door opens back up and the tenant is holding a rifle. Right behind the tenant is his daughter. She was around 8 or 9.

All in the matter of a second or two the tenant raises the rifle. The Constable draws his gun and fires hitting the tenant in the arm.

The problem is the bullet passed through the arm of the tenant and hit his daughter killing her.

The tenant was just found guilty of the homicide of his daughter.

It's a sad af story and just kind of strange.
