Apparently gender and gender identity aren't the same either....had to fish out the answer from planned Parenthood of all places Sex-what your doctor says you are Gender-what society says you are Gender identity- what you say you are Sounds like all those self identified trans are actually correctly labeled by everyone. If society says they're a man, they're a man.
