Nevermind that the seperation was going on before Trump, and was a result of a Supreme Court decision saying keeping the kids together with their parents was a human rights violation.

Which is something everyone forgets to mention. The separation was happening because you can't put kids in adult prisons.

Mass separation is a Trump policy. Keep trying.

"Zero tolerance" is a trump policy. Mass separation is the result of actually enforcing the laws on the books. There's a difference.

You finally admit it.

You must be confusing me with someone else. My stance on the immigration issue has ALWAYS been that if you take issue with what happens when the laws are enforced, then we should get congress to change them. Having government arbitrarily not enforce laws we don't like is the absolute dumbest way to run a government. I support Trump's shift to requiring the federal government actually enforce our laws, but I also support congress making new laws to change how things are going down, and I think we as a nation have collectively given up on the idea of using our government as it was designed which is causing way more problems than its fixing.
