The debate is pointless as this society is not going to raise taxes to better foster care to take care of these kids. They might do it to build more prisons though.
This society is not going to be willing to adopt kids en masse that even their own mother didn't care for.
This is going to affect younger women who don't have control of their lives, and poor women. Middle class women in mid twenties are just going to travel to a different state and null and avoid any abortion ban. Those who do are just going to suffer, die trying to get an abortion and put a strain on society with their kids.
We will see increased crime to. Why do people want this?
