| MariaTaylor 07/24/18 10:08:40 AM #289: | in this specific case I had been intentionally cultivating the feeling that Dismas should have seemed to be invulnerable, highly capable and probably in the back of the readers mind they felt like he had some kind of plot armor or even a bit of author favoritism. for me it's very fun to build up those expectations only to completely flip them on their head. it's not really a guarantee that Dismas was going to die here or in this way but I've pretty much known all along that I was going to use his death as a set piece at some point in the story. it was only a matter of when it was going to happen. --- ~* Now I only see your dull imposter ~* https://imgur.com/tdhOSKc ...
