'Zero flight experience...' So, his Incom T-16 Skyhopper, that the Incom T-65 X-Wing was based off of, doesn't count? You know, the one he used to bullseye Womp Rats back home? You know, the one he used to fly down Beggar's Canyon, racing Biggs Darklighter? He mentioned it a few times. He even told Han 'I'm not such a bad pilot myself.'
