Not really true, although it's often the case. Ghost lore sometimes has spirits haunting places that were significant to them in life.

and that's why I never became a writer. I used to want to write novels. as early as in jr high I was coming up with ideas for stories to make into novels or even series of novels like sagas that I would get famous for. both fantasy stuff and sci fi ideas. but I quickly realized that i don't know how to write and then I just gave up. writing is tough and not everyone can do it. shame. I used to imagine that someday my books would be in stores in the "21st century classic literature" section

Back when I was a more avid reader, I dreamed of someday becoming an author with a volume of work large enough to fill a room... then I realized it was far more effort than I'd ever want to exert. And I was never particularly comfortable in having people read my fiction, although I can't remember anything resembling harsh criticism during the writing courses I took for general education requirements in high school and college.
