We get it that you have a bias for your profession and need to defend it while telling people they don't know as much as you do about your own job. Just remember to be honest and admit there are major problems with law enforcement across the country as well. Your comment defending the Las Vegas PD was pretty telling. Major PDs in big cities having corruption issues is by no means unheard of and you just immediately dismissed it without any real argument being made. For the record, cops being jerks should be very illegal. It is an abuse of power and does no good to help the community. I get it, the law is written in such a way as to give law enforcement certain powers and privileges. The problem is when you have no real means of holding law enforcement accountable.
