I have two friends that just graduated the academy here in Vegas and they both said that the police force here is fucking insanely corrupt and shitty. Kinda knew this shit but hearing it from someone within is scary af. How do they cope with that? Are they going to go to a different police department, or try to tough it out? Watching the next episode of this show, the police chief went with the cops to shut down a liquor store and the store owner was angrily but rationally expressing her grievances. She was arguing with the police but also complying with their demands to surrender her key and everything. The one cop told her to "have a better day" which of course made her even more pissed off because who the hell says that, and then the police chief threatened to arrest her. Friggin' ridiculous.
