If he scanned it and it is not coming up as a valid coupon then in no way is he required to do an override to give the depends diapers for free Actually, in those situations we look at the coupon ourselves and see if there's an issue. The system bugs out regularly for no damned reason, so if a coupon doesn't scan right but looks legit we just force the system to accept with a manual override.
